a little ‘thank you’

Nothing warms my heart more than when I hear a bride say she loves her wedding pictures.

I am so blessed to be able to do what I do.

Recently I got a little, ‘thank you’ in the mail from a recent bride.

Thought i’d share.

i love it.

thank YOU Becky.

SC

you are the very best thing.

Baby, it’s been a long day, baby
Things ain’t going my way
You know I need
you here
Here by my side
All of the time

And baby, the way you move
me it’s crazy
It’s like you see right through me
And you make it
easier
You please me and you don’t even have to try

Oh because, you
are the best thing
You are the best thing
You are the best thing
Ever
happened to me

Baby, we’ve come a long way, baby
You know, I hope and
I pray that you believe me
When I say this love will never fade
away

Oh because, you are the best thing
You are the best thing
You
are the best thing
Ever happened to me

Now both of us have known love
before
To come on up promising, like the spring, just walk on out the
door
Our hearts are strong and are hearts are kind
Well, let me tell you
what exactly is on my mind

You are the best thing
You are the best
thing
You are the best thing
Ever happened to me

You are the best
thing
You are the best thing
You are the best thing
Ever happened to
me

Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Now, now, now, now

In the bride’s words (these details are too sweet to not share!):

Something old: the lace handkerchief that I wrapped around my bouquet. My dad has 4 sisters, who we are all really close to. One of his sisters, my Aunt Eileen, passed away many years ago without having any children of her own. This was her handkerchief. She gave it to my Aunt Maureen to pass along to Maureen’s daughter (my cousin Amy) on her wedding day. Amy used it, then gave it to my sister Sara on her wedding day. Sara used it, then passed it to me! I’ll save it for my sister Samantha, the youngest girl in our family.

Something new: my dress and my bracelet!

Something borrowed: the earrings I wore were borrowed from my mom

Something blue: the crystal “I DO” letters on the bottom of my shoes

In lieu of having traditional favors we donated to two charities- Susan G. Komen for the Cure (my Aunt Maureen beat breast cancer over the course of this past year!) and Tuscaloosa Disaster Relief (to help with the tornado relief efforts that are taking place in Tuscaloosa, AL, which is where Scott attended the University of Alabama)
